Marc Bosserman is a talented songwriter, singer and keyboard player. I was fortunate to have an opportunity to record with him. The result is my take on Shawn Colvin’s beautiful tune “Never Saw Blue Like That” with Marc on keys. You can listen clicking on “Audio”.

Holiday Musical Theatre
This holiday season I’m thrilled to be part of the cast of “Paquito’s Christmas”. This is the ninth annual production of Luis Avalos' big stage musical about a runaway boy's odyssey of discovery as he learns that family is at the heart of the true meaning of the season. The cast includes Emmy Award-winning Marabina Jaimes (PBS' "Storytime") and seven-year-old Javier Estrada as Paquito. This 2002 Imagine Award-winning show will be presented at the 5000-seat Pasadena Civic Auditorium. I hope you can make it! There is a hot salsa dance number that you will love!

I would just like to add that working with Luis Avalos is a real treat. His numerous credits include The New York Shakespeare Festival, Broadway theatre and over 600 episodes of Emmy and Grammy award winning ‘The Electric Company’ in addition to over 60 TV episodic appearances and countless commercials. His professionalism is outdone only by his warm demeanor.

Roll Camera!
Beginning in early September, I started answering any and all audition notices I could get my hands and soon found myself going on anywhere from 1-4 auditions a week. This led to landing no less than 14 parts (an average of 1 part per week!) in “spec” and test market commercials, short student films and other non-union work. The most recent shoot was a commercial for a dental plan which will test in the San Fernando Valley cable market in January.

Here is a little sequence is from “Ladies” -- an adorable story written and directed USC Film School graduate student Martin Desmond Roe in which an awkward 16-year-old boy is forced by his much older brother to visit a high class call girl (moi). The boy is a nervous wreck and she can’t help but burst out laughing at him. Then, feeling more motherly than anything, she helps him trick his older brother into thinking something masterful happened behind those closed doors when it didn’t really.

“The Apple” is a surrealistic urban Eve-and-the-apple tale by USC Film School student, Tarek Soliman.
